Phalaenopsis sp.

Distribution : South of Cianjur, West Java. Endemic, This plant was discovered by local orchid hunter, growing alongside Phalaenopsis javanica in primary forest at an altitude 700-1000m. 

Leaves broadly lanceolate, 20-25 x 6-12cm.
Inflorescences several on a plant and longer than the leaves, the penduncle to about 35 cm, the flower appear in  succesion.
Flowers one or two open at a time on each spike. 

Local name "Phalaenopsis lotubela" or "Phalaenopsis latubelum", We think this plant is a natural hybrid between Phalaenopsis javanica and Phalaenopsis cornucervi.
